The Art of Giving

Shawn turned 11months old yesterday. One more month to a year old!

Yesterday, I had to take a call from home. Shawn was standing up holding his play yard and calling us while we were glued onto our PC screens. YT had to calm him from screaming when it's my turn to speak in the call. After the call, I sat down in the playyard with Shawn. He took out a piece of sort plastic toy from the FP Cookie Jar and put in my palm. Then I put it back into the jar, he took it out and put in my palm. And I said Thank You. He laughed. We went on and on with this routine for a few rounds. He seemed to have learn "The Art of Giving". Hahahaa... so nice. I was happy that he has learned that in school.

I tried feeding him milk from the straw cup. He took about 60ml and decided to stop. YT tried also but he refused. In the end I had to latch him on. After nursing him, he was quite groggy and I lowered him into the cot and patted him for a few minutes and he slept. Then at midnight, he woke up crying. Diaper was full and we had to change him. He just refused to lie down and started screaming and crying. Kicking his legs and squirming away. Took us more than 15min to change a diaper and to wear his pants back. Ugggghhhh!!! I latched him and nursed him back to sleep. At 4am he woke me up again. I wonder when would this be over.... :(
