18months

Shawn is turning 18months in 2days time. Next month he'll join the playgroup in school. Nowadays, the school is orientating him in the playgroup, like during lunchtime. Back at home, he still needs help to scoop up the meal for him. He hasn't master the skill of scooping yet. Plus if you hand over the spoon with food, the next thing he'll do is to put into his mouth (whether or not his mouth is full of food). Oh yes, speaking of making choices, he'll point to the food that he wants to eat and ask me to scoop and give it to him. Else he'll shut his mouth and shake his head. Anyway, self-feeding at home is not entirely full time for him. I still need to feed him to finish up the meal, he only does 10-25% of the self-feeding and he would be busy with something else during mealtime.
