Our weekend

YT's parents are here for the week. We were out all day on Saturday (yea, tell me about it, I was so damn tired by the end of the day!!!). We were at Orchard in the morning and afternoon. Then later in the evening, we strolled and sat by the river bank watching boats and cranes and Merlion. We went to Esplanade for Korean food dinner. Shawn absolutely dislike their yummy honeyed pork and ended up with chicken rice on his plate. Plus he needed "Shrek" on YT's phone while he has his dinner! He has been super sticky to YT. To a certain, boy am I glad... but when I needed YT to help me with something and he has to walk away, there goes the siren!

On Saturday, YT got him this FP Travel Doodle Pro, to be used when he gets bored or insecure. He seems contented with it. So it's probably a good buy for the meantime. This morning he didn't want to leave the house without it! But luckily I managed to slipped into my bag before reaching his school, else we would have trouble parting with it!












On Sunday we just stayed home and relaxed. He had the whole morning of TV. No matter what he still likes Shrek and Madagascar2. He is not impressed with Finding Nemo and Cars at this point in time. He would open the DVD cabinet and fished out Madagascar2 and tell us to turn it on for him. In the afternoon, YT and Phaik entertained Shawn with Play-doh. He had 'tomatoes, apples, crab, carrots, dumplings, green peas and hamburger with blue patties' in his bowl of 'soup'. The moment he picked up the stuff and put into his bowl, there is no way you could take it away from him. He would take plastic spoon and cake knife to pretend to 'cut, fry and eat' them. Conclusion, the 4tubs of mini Play-doh is NOT enough for us :) So yesterday, YT couldn't resist and bought him Play-doh Fun Factory set. Well, that should keep him away from the TV for hours for the weekends to come.
