My mum and Shawn watched an excavator dig and pour soil into a dump truck on Saturday. Yesterday when we were reading the Digger and Dumper book, he recalled and told me this, "Ah Ma, Shawn, stand, watch, dig, pour, truck". I was pretty amazed that he rememberd this. Must have been because he likes those big heavy duty vehicles!
This morning he was anxious when one mommmie came to say hi to him. He slumped onto the floor and refused to stand on his own. After awhile he just ignored that mommie, hugged me and walked into the school just like any other day. At breakfast place, he saw me, then he kind of got angry, and put his fingers into his mouth and dig and started to cry. One teacher picked him up and pacified him and I walked away to get to work. Looks like I got to be more patience with his social skills. Just wrote to Dr Khor for advice and hopefully she'll reply on how to tackle this behaviour. At the same time, I hope he would outgrow this soon. I read apparently adults can't quite talk logic into kids of 2years old and below. They would only develop logical thinking when they reach 3years old. So, hope all this would be gone for good soon.
