We went out for steamboat buffet dinner at Chinese Swimming Club, with Phaik, Sing & Steph. It happen to coincide with Shawn's feeding time. So I ended up nursing him in the toilet. Luckily the toilet was clean. He was cranky & grumbled for awhile but we didn't realise that he pooped until we got home. Poor baby.. mummy was busy eating and eating! After we got home, I wiped him down and YT bottle fed him while I took my bath. Then I pumped milk and he was wide awake, gurgling and making funny goo goo gaa gaa sounds. Then we put him to bed. He was good for awhile then he started to cry. I was with him when I heard the thunderous poop sound. After cleaning him up, he slept immediately. I hope he would sleep and wake up later tomorrow!
Shawn is doing great in the infant care centre. In fact he kind of attracted some older girls infants who are there. There are really some cute & friendly bunch of infants at the care centre...
As a pumping mum
I find it difficult to pump and trying to concentrate on working numbers. For the past 5days, it was a struggle. Thank goodness it's Friday (now Saturday early morning). And luckily I managed to get work done today as I have my usual weekly deadlines to meet. It's quarter end closing this month and I hope I can pull through well.
I tried tandem nursing yesterday. Baby Shawn on one side and the good ol' faithful Ameda pump on the other side. Works wonders! In matter of minutes, I filled up the bottle because the flow was super duper good. And baby Shawn was one 'high' baby after his feed. :P
Sprees... ooo I am hooked!
There was a hype going on in SMH on baby carrier, nursing wraps, baby leg warmers etc. Dec07 thread mummies are one whole lot who loves shopping! Mad about sprees and bulk purchases. Personally, I am kind of hooked too and has been trying to control not to buy and buy! Resistance is almost impossible! Indulgence....
