Walk walk walk!

I got to day care at about 5.45pm. Shawn was sleeping. Teacher Wayv told me that he had a happening day. He was suddenly up and about walking for the WHOLE DAY! When he's being cheered on, he would be very excited, laugh and cheer himself on to walk. I asked was it a few steps only? Teacher Wayv said no, it's across the room. Oh wow! I went in the sleeping quarters and disturbed Shawn. He opened his eyes about 2-3mm only and went back to sleep. He was WAY too tired. I had never seen him so tired before. So I decided to let him sleep awhile longer. Then I went in to disturb him again. He was still sound asleep. He completely ignored me! About 10minutes later, he woke up in tears. Awww... he peered through the frosted window from inside and bang on it to be let out. Teacher Siti opened the door and there he was crawling out. He just wanted to be carried. 5minutes later after all the sayang sayang, we left the day care. I brought him to the shoe rack and asked where are his shoes. He wanted to take a pair of Hello Kitty shoes which belonged to an older child. I said no, look properly. He took his shoes, one at a time. And sat on the floor. I wore the shoes on him and we left the school.

Back at home, after dinner, YT put him on the floor. Instead of crawling around he wanted to sit around his books. After 10minutes later he kind of got bored and signalled to want to be carried. YT somewhat cheered him on to walk. And there he went. At first he was walking 3-4steps and bummed on the floor. Then he walked further, and further. He walked from the sofa to the kitchen. Made u-turn and walked half the distance back. It went on and on. Yea.. he needs to be cheered and excitement makes him want to walk further. It was a sight. He was beaming with joy when walking. Tomorrow I would post the video in the blog. We managed to catch it on my handphone. Hehehee
