Shawn had a fall yesterday in daycare. He landed chin down first and has a little bruise from the friction against a rug. Apparently they were jumping during some activity. Nope, he didn't cry at all but I heard from the teacher that he was just a bit shocked. Seconds later he was back to playing after they put cold compress on him. It doesn't seem to affect him at all and there is no pain when I exerted some pressure on the area. Personally I think toddlers ARE not a sturdy and steady as you think they might be. They are still learning to coordinate their movements. So, this is no big deal for the little big guy!
