Yesterday I started to use a new bib that comes with a "drain" to catch the crumbs or whatever that falls off his mouth. He was distracted for awhile, not until he saw the bowl of watercress soup. After a few mouthfuls of rice, he insisted of having soup. And yes, he finished the bowl of soup before agreeing to finish up his rice. Then he looked into the 'drain' and said "wet wet" and put his hands there to play with the soup and food that fell in! I had trouble getting him to self feed yesterday because of the new bib, as he just wanted to mess with the bib.
After dinner, I gave him the seaweed that I got from Taka food fair. It is not salty at all. Anyway, he looked the piece of seaweed, passed from one hand to the other and examined it carefully. Then he put into his mouth when I showed him that it could be eaten. But he didn't realise that he needed to bite and tear the seaweed away in order to eat it. I had to teach him how to do it. After 2nd piece of seaweed, then he was able to do it more professionally by himself. Takes a little practice :) He seemed to enjoy it very much. I gave him 3pcs while I finished the rest!
He watched a short section of Smallville while I bathed. And Heroes trailer yesterday. There was one part where the baddie turned up with a gun and shot. He exclaimed "Bad bad!" excitedly. Reason being we told him over and over again that gun is bad!
