Our weekend at Takashimaya

Over the weekend, we were at Takashimaya. After my visit to Dr Yang, we went to Tanglin mall and had spaghetti for lunch. Then we went to Singtel to queue for the new iPhone 3GS. The queue was MADNESS! Shawn and I however stayed indoors at the Singtel shop while YT went to join the mad queue. He took about 2hrs queueing outside, while Shawn finally napped for and hour. Then we joined YT when he went to the other part of the building. Yet that took another hour. There were many holding stations. At the final station, finally we got some privilege. A lady told us that she would take us to the customer service centre so that we do not need to join the queue to pick up the phone and do up the formalities (in the hot hot weather!). So we were spared and went on to the aircon place instead. And that took another hour or so because the billing and payment portion was super duper slow! We finally got the phones and got out of the place and went to Paragon. Ate char kway teow and Shawn had half a portion of steamed chicken rice. From Paragon we went on to Taka, walked a bit and went home from there. Ordered a pizza in while Shawn had egg, peas and carrot porridge. Yesterday we were also at Takashimaya because YT wanted to trade in his current mobile set. Spent the whole day there til about 3plus. We brought Shawn to the food fair too. He went around getting free samples of food (with us monitoring what he was going to put into his mouth) and seemed to enjoy the whole fare. After some groceries shopping we went home and had home cooked dinner.

Shawn is now obsessed with getting us to draw mop and vacuum cleaner for him. He would say "Get! Draw!" for us to get the drawing board and draw for him. He sat YT down for about 20min just drawing these 2 items over and over again. He came to a point of asking him to draw 2mops and 2vacuum cleaner alternately. Yes, that drove YT nuts hahahaaa! He too loves his new picture book of Spot the dog. He would now say, "Get! Book! Pot!". Since he can't pronounce Spot he would call the book pot or dog book.
