Our weekend

We stayed home on Saturday until dinner time and we went over the CY & Kim's place for dinner. Before other friends arrived he started off having potato croquette. Then he had another. And went to the table and asked for more. When the rest arrived, I think he must had eaten 3 of those - indeed it was very very yummy! While Esther was trying to feed En En, Shawn went over to take a peek. En En was distracted by other things and didn't eat much of her dinner. Instead it was SHAWN who helped to finish her dinner of porridge!!! It's not the end of story, he went around sneaking in food from YT while he was eating his dinner but he kind of slowed down and sat on TW's lap watching Pocahontas. Then he went pinching for raisins from Lily! It was an eating spree night for Shawn!

Sunday was another eating day. We went to Forum for lunch with Auntie Sandra, Uncle Anthony and Mei Ling. Initially Shawn was cranky because it was his naptime around noon. The food pacified him. He had one siew mai, a small bowl century egg porridge, some sliced fish with celery, 1 charsiewpau and 3pcs of thinly sliced papaya. He slept on the way home, and continued until 5pm. It was like 2.5hr nap. I don't remember him having such a long nap during weekend until today! We had a one pot soup for dinner. He selfed about 3/4 on his own while we ate ours. Such a good boy!

He is kind of hooked to Bolt, the cartoon from Disney. For the past 2 days he insisted of watching Bolt when he saw the DVD box lying around the coffee table or even in the cabinet. This really drives us nuts! Just now when YT was watching Liverpool vs Singapore on TV, he came screaming and whining for Bolt. So instead YT bargained to play "Elmo" music. It worked. He muted the TV and played the Sesame Street music from the DVD player.
