Good kid so far

He's been good so far, apart for like 5-10min whining and crocodile tears crying while waiting for his meal in the evenings. Bathtime and milk time has been well.. smooth flowing so far. As for school, he has been good too. Thankful for that. Hope he'll be good for a long long while! This morning, I spoke to one of the kids who came from Kidstar. Her parents think the centre generally is good. They are happy with the centre so far. Their eldest daughter picks up a lot of Mandarin. So I asked about hygiene. They said that well, the thing is the kids go home smelly because they sweat a lot! Which I totally agree, Shawn has been stinko when I pick him up. He needs wipe down so that he's not smelling like fish when I feed him his dinner. Even with the construction located diagonally opposite the centre, the place is generally kept clean and not that dusty, which they are quite pleased with it. I suppose this place is a good choice for Shawn. I tried singing Alphabet song to him, he can end the phrases with G and P. When counting 1-10, he know 2 comes after 1, 5 and 6 comes after 4. I think he picked this up in this centre?? He seems more chatty when I pick him up in the evenings, after all the warmup for the whole day in school. We'll see how he fare in weeks to come. :)

Shawn has a new book "The wheels on the bus" which I got it from www.bookdepository.com. He would point for "Dum Dum" in that book. Not sure why he likes the drum so much. Then he said "Dum, Dum, Beat, Beat". I supppose he was telling me that I have to beat the drum to make the sound. And he still loves the PC Magazine which is like torn beyond recognition to a certain extend... Well he would ask for "Gar, Gar, Uncle, Bad, Bad". I suppose it's meant to be Uncle who holds the gun is bad uncle. :)
