New toys

Phaik bought a panda walking balloon. Shawn was excited at first, was walking the balloon and when he realised the balloon can be lifted up, he became quite scared of it.. He kept asking her to carry him. Meanwhile, Aiko was nowhere to be found when the balloon made appearance. Shawn beat the balloon but when we asked him to sayang the balloon, he did stroke the balloon. Anyway, we'll try that on him again tonight. She also got him a set of Micky Mouse Memory Game set. During dinner time, he messed with an avocado. He insisted of self-feeding. Since the avocado wasn't very soft yet, he had trouble scooping up the fruit, neither does he want us to help him. So he went, "Cut, Cut, cut". He uses his strength to squash the fruit and 'cut' it up. Basically he barely ate half of it. Anyway, seemed like he had fun that he didn't want to part with the fun 'cutting' up the fruit, so he screamed when we said enough for the day and told him no more avocado. Shawn has been using combination of words to tell us what he wants to do. Last night while putting him to bed, after his new routine of naming body parts in the dark, he went "Shawn, Bed, Ah Mi, Pat, Bed, Sleep".
