The eating machine

Shawn the eating machine
6.45pm Dinner - Porky porridge
8.00pm 240ml of milk
8.15pm Saw KFC bag, saw the mini tub (unopened) and screamed for "Match! Match"

YT and I were wondering what match.. and we thought it's the phone and so we said "Phone went to sleep already, charging now." Kept pointing at the dining table from his highchair and he was getting upset. And then it struck us that he's talking about MASH POTATO! So I said, "Mommie go and get your bowl ok?". He got really upset and at the verge of tears and kept chanting for "Mash, Own! Own!" while tapping on his table. Then we said, "Ok, now you have your bowl and you can eat on your own from your bowl!". The weather suddenly changed for the better. I gave him half of mine and he savored every single drop of the mash. Then asked for more when he hasn't even finish it. YT gave him another half. After that he's really "All done!", asked to get down the chair and asked for toys. We gave him the drum. Then he went to his bedroom door, knocked and "Uh, uh uh uh". Wondering what was it... Figured it must have been maracas. So we gave him the maracas and he's happy! So he's happily banging the drum with the maracas and dancing, until YT put him to bed.

This morning, he requested for drum and also pointed for maracas. So I gave him after he finished his milk. I was cracking my head how NOT to bring those stuff out of the house. So I said, "How about we keep drum and maracas at home? Shawn needs to go to school. Mommie would let you play with bear on the phone later on, in the cab". I repeated a couple of times before it got registered into his head. Then he willingly put the drum and maracas onto his highchair table, said bye bye to Aiko and waited for me at the door. He reminded me of the "bear" as we were walking towards the main road to flag for a cab. As promised, "bear" on my phone for him. He willingly passed me the phone when we reached school. Good deal.. looks like it worked for both of us, peacefully.
