Failed miserably...

Nope, it didn't work tonight. Failed miserably. Reason being we went out of routine perhaps.. After bath, it's build block time in the cot. It's too early to put him to bed 7.45pm while we hadn't had dinner. So, took him out and he requested to sit on his highchair to play blocks while we eat dinner. After that he whined for me to pat him. YT put him into the cot and the wailing started. So I ended being called in to power him off.. Took me one hour plus to get him to sleep... duh...
