Darn... Shawn's coughing again. I'm think he probably caught it from me. I was having this stratchy throat on Thrus and almost lost my voice on Friday. Cough came in on Friday and so did Shawn's. Uggghhh!!! He was just off medication on last Sunday and there you go again! @#^&*
We stayed home during the day time and went to T3 to run around before dinner time by the toddler wasn't too keen on running. He probably had a long day and only a short nap around noon time. He saw the giant robotic fan at the departure hall. As he walked past it, he went, "Bye bye fan!". Brought him to take a ride on the sky train to T2 and we taught him to hold on to the pole with both hands while YT was on standby at the back to hold on to him in case he topples when it braked. Then we had cheesecake at Starbucks before heading home with some McDonalds for supper. On the way back, Shawn lied down on YT's lap but stayed awake. He said, "Dark, dark". We told him to stay awake so that when we get home he can shower, have his milk and then sleep. As we were reaching home, Shawn said, "Bye dark dark!". Shawn came home and knocked out within 20minutes his dose of milk. This morning, after getting out of bed, I closed the windows and let the curtains down, Shawn said, "Bye dark dark!" as he headed out of the room.
Today we had a trial run leaving mum and Shawn at home for a couple of hours. After lunch, YT and I sneaked out while mum bathed Shawn and dressed him up (for the 1st time). I had a haircut while YT had time off running around the stores checking out his gadgets. Apparently he was a good boy throughout. This certainly made my mum's life so much easier... She had spent time reading to him, playing ball with him and having afternoon tea together (his version was milk and bread). He did ask for us at the beginning and my mum told him that Papa and Mommie went downstairs for awhile. And he never asked for us anymore. Towards the end of the afternoon, he requested to watch Madagascar2. My mum didn't know how to operate the dvd player and switching it from the TV. She told him, "Ah Ma doesn't know how to operate". Shawn's answer to her was, "Try!".
