Here are some update on what he has been upto... yea I am lazy, I admit that
1. When Shawn turns on the TV by pressing an invalid channel and if we the adults offered him to help him turn off the TV and in turn asked, "Who spoilt it?", his answer was "Mommie spoil" or "Ah Ma spoil"
2. Not sure where did he learned this from - the word EXCHANGE. Now he does barter trading with us. Today he took his favorite figurine the lion and went to YT and said, "Exchange phone" while handing over the lion to his father.
3. YT says, "What do you say when the dinasour bites you?" Shawn's reply with a wriggle from his index finger, "No pain"
4. Shawn loves play his Barney balloon with a holding stick (which he got from a classmate's birthday party) and a ball. He says it's "Golf" when he hits the ball with the balloon. He also goes around wielding the balloon screaming away, "Fighting!". Sometimes he treats it as "Army! GuN!" Yea... really! So much of NERF influence from the father huh? :)
5. One of the nights, Shawn said this to my mum, "Ah Ma's mickey mouse" while pointing onto my mum's mattress. It meant that he wanted to sleep on my mum's mattress.
6. Today YT came back with a new standing fan. The box was big and tied up with rafia string. Shawn called it "Present". He asked YT to "Tear". We asked whose present is it, he proudly said "Shawn's", and what was inside, "Bear bear". He was a great little helper trying to push the big box around the house and stood by YT while he's fixing the fan.
7. On his favorite book of Dinosaurs (in fact the one and only), he recognizes and points to the correct the pages which show :
-classic giants (says Shawn, they eat grass and plants),
-T-rex,
-armoured dinosaurs (he goes "Whoooeeeet" and pointing out the 2 horns on his head),
-the slashers, duckbills, clubtailed dinosaurs
-hornblowers (he covers his mouth - because that's what I do while we are at this page while making some funny noise),
-hornless (he calls them no horn dinosaurs)
-bird dinosaurs (he says they eat fish and corn - not sure why he says they eat corn actually), -meat-eaters (he calls them big bad dinosaurs)
8. He now recognizes colors of blue, purple, red, green, white, black, brown, yellow and orange.
9. Today he finally said something positive i.e. "I want" instead of his daily ranting of "I don't want!"
