It was a quiet day. No bang bang celebration, and I cannot eat tonnes of food and had to stay "confined" per the Chinese tradition for 30days. During lunch, we had a simple homecooked glutinous rice with curry chicken, bundled with some angku kueh to mark Dylan's Chinese full month. Too bad Shawn's birthday falls in this period of time. We would have a small session when my in-laws are in town at the end of the year, also with my mum in town of course. Nothing much done, except calling up the bakery to order the cake - which turned out to be a disappointment. I thought there's going to be whole lot of strawberries, but it turned out to be a few slices only... bleah... But plus point was the blackforest cake was just nice, not too sweet.
