What had we been doing?

Last weekend we went to East Coast Park. After our breakfast at Old Town cafe, we spent some time at the beach front (not in the sun though). Shawn ate some sand there and made a big fuss. When asked to gurgle with water, he swallowed the water in instead. We walked (with Dylan in the sarong sling) from big Splash to McD area. My legs and shoulders were going to break by the time we got there. Then we went to Parkway for lunch.

Teik's parents were here since Wednesday. Shawn skipped school on Thrus and went to the city with grandparents to get some coffee stuff. They went by train and apparently he was quite well behaved throughout the journey except he wanted his grandpa to carry most of the time, and on the way back, he wanted to walk around in the train. They were out of the house for a couple of hours while I stayed home with baby Dylan.

Today, we went to Woodlands to visit some relatives (with 3boys). The moment Shawn stepped into the house, he went straight to the boys room and soon forgot about us. He wasn't playing much with the older boys, but he was playing the blocks on his own. He watched Ice Age3 there but when we wanted to leave, he threw tantrum and lie on the floor kicking and rolling. We decided to just leave him alone to calm himself down, he calmed down and ended up looking ugly with tears and muck from his nose. We had late lunch at Crystal Jade, where Shawn had 2 charsiew pau. After that we walked around and Shawn suddenly just doze off on the stroller. He slept all the way in the cab, until YT woke him up at 6.30pm when they wanted to go out for dinner with the Kulim gang. I was too tired and I decided to sleep in from 5.30pm with Dylan and only woke up at 8.30pm. After their dinner, a few of the came to our house. Dylan was carried by Esther while I had my dinner, round about 9pm. En En wanted to carry Dylan but Esther told her only to sayang Dylan. Shawn didn't have any big reaction when he saw Esther carying Dylan. Apparently he just went over to kiss Dylan and continued playing and watching TV. What a relief! :) I asked Shawn to kiss En En, and he went over to her, hugged her and kiss her on the cheek.. Whahahaa too bad we missed the Kodak moment :)

Tomorrow we are planning for the Dino show at Jurong Birdpark. Hopefully weather is good!
