Recently...

I hadn't posted for ages. Been busy with the new place and settling down. Things are still lying around the new home. Shawn could be an angel when he's in good mood and super whiny and naggy when he cries. Drives us nuts. Anyway, his recent craze is Marvel superheros. He talks about superheros during dinner, during milk feed, during car rides and sings about superheros (which just happened tonight). I swear I didn't teach him this version. Check out the videos section. I just flipped and had to pause to laugh after I videod it down.

Getting him to eat his meals can be a real chore. When he's good, he would gobble his food down. We speak of Ironman eating brown rice, meat and carrots, in order to become stronger. Peter Parker eats cod fish to grow taller and smarter. The list is endless. Senseless conversation at times but at least he would eat 75% of the amount on the plate, much to my content. I had tried to cook today. Dumped in stuff into the tiger pot to boil this morning and the outcome was soggy sticky soft brown rice. Dylan and Shawn shared the same stuff. I figured I cannot feed them carrots everyday, else they'll turn orange sooner or later. So.. need to change the menu. Tomorrow would be white potatoes with pork with brown rice with Chinese spinach.

Yesterday AND today, when we picked him up from school, he said, "I want steamboat. I am hungry". That's one thing that caught our attention as it's the 1st time he ever declare he is hungry. And he knows now that he needs strength to pull something. Yesterday he was trying to pull the seatbelt but it wouldn't budge. then he said, "No strength"

Finally, not potty trained yet
