New Year's Eve

I took 1/2day off today because Kidstarz is closed in the PM. Brought Shawn back and tried to make him sleep. It was only after 1.5hr of playing, rolling and tossing around the bed made him tired. Instead I was the one who slept for 1/2hr while he was tossing around his cot. Then he woke me up from my nap and decided to latch on. Couldn't quite remember how long had I passed out before I realised we both were sleeping. Anyway, I put him in his cot and he slept for an hour.

Shawn had a good time on the floor today. He chased Aiko around the house and inspected every single corner he could go to. He stood up holding on to the chair and took down every single book he could reach from the dining table. Then he 'read' for 10min and started 'wiping' the floor. Kept me busy for one hour plus! Still he can't get enough of it and he screamed as I carried him up. Ugghhh.. my ears sure do need some checkup - I can still hear his pitchy scream ringing in my ears!

We had Lig Lee and Bernice over for dinner. We had mushroom soup, steamed brocolli and peas and mashed potatoes. YT prepared the main i.e. beef steak while they helped out the rest. It was a lovely dinner! Shawn had some 8grain porridge with bok choi, half an egg and cod fish. He wasn't too cooperative this evening. He was quite cranky, wanting to get off the high chair after his dinner. Had to bribed him with Gerber stars. The usual routine goes on bath, play, read and sleep. The boys are now playing WOW and Bernice and I are watching the countdown at Vivocity. Later all of us would have the bubbly from Domaine Chandon.. yay!
