Gums ooo Gums

As I was nursing Shawn, he kind of fell asleep but when YT came back, he was wide awake again. Not long after that he was showing signs of tiredness, rubbing his eyes and yawning. We put him on the highchair while we had our dinner. Later I tried to put him to bed. When I put him in the cot, he quickly stood up. So I got YT to take over so that I can do other things. YT said that he wanted book, pointing at the stack of books on top of the cabinet and said "Book, book". So YT read to him for awhile. Shawn was very wide awake!!! I decided that well, may be I should just lie down and nurse him to sleep. 5minutes into nursing he passed out. Then... he woke up at 1.45am!!! He was sticking his fingers into his mouth while crying away. Poor fellow... his gums must have been very sore and painful! I took the shortcut.. i.e. to nurse him back to Lala-land. Again, he woke up at 5am plus. I took the shortcut again and nursed him to sleep. Luckily I slept early too otherwise I would have been a zombie today!
