Viral Fever again!

Last night he felt warm. Took his temperature and it was 37degC (using forehead thermometer). So we gave him 1.5ml of paracetamol. Then this morning, at about 5am, I took his temperature and it measured at 38degC. Gave him another shot of medicine. In school at 10am it was at 37.3 degC. So I decided to bring him to Dr  Khor. It was 39degC (ear thermometer). Apparently ear thermometer reads higher than forehead temperature. Dr Khor gave him some shots of medicine. She checked his body, there were red rashes looking thing all over his body (called hives i.e. hong mok in Chinese). They come and go with the high fever. She diagnosed fever as viral fever. Anyway, the fever had subsided when I called the school at about 4pm.  Would monitor tonight and hopefully he'll get well soon!
