On Saturday, Shawn was having yoyo temperature, even until at night. Thankfully it didn't hit sky high 39degC anymore. He missed his morning nap and only slept 1.5hr in the afternoon. He wasn't that cranky and was still actively prancing around. Then yesterday he has recovered. Anyway, for the past one week, he has been waking up in the middle of the night. Ugghhh... so much for having a good night sleep! Yesterday when he was screaming away & crying (I can't quite remember why he was crying), I caught a sight of a big molar swelling in the bum on the right bottom. I wonder if that's the MAJOR culprit to all the night wakings!
Shawn seems to prefer walking now. We tried at home with him holding to one hand, then one finger. He still wobbles but he enjoys moving around walking from the hall to the kitchen and back to the hall. And when he walks, he makes this "Chih chih" sound with every step he takes. He could still manage to 'smack' Aiko when she's nearby, followed by a high pitch happy scream everytime she walks by. With Aiko 'cheering' him on, he seems very excited walking to and fro on the same route.
We went to Parkway Parade yesterday. Luckily he managed took his afternoon for about 1.5hrs. At least I get some time to walk and browse, wasn't that fruitful but at least I managed to get a top :) For dinner we brought him to the hawker centre. And for the first time eating hawker food! I bought him sliced fish soup with rice. He ate quite a fair bit. We got to distract him many times to sneak in more food. Then we took a walk at the Marine Parade area. He was very very busy looking around at the Chinese New Year decoration stalls at the pasar malam and the lights. We brought him to a pet shop and showed him big fishes swimming in the display aquarium. YT taught him to pronounce fish and what came out was 'ish' minus the F. And then we saw some rabbits. He was quiet for a while then, then managed, slowly pronouncing rab-bit . We got him to repeat a couple of time, but it is always a delayed reaction from him :)
