I saw 2 postage stamps on the bunch of mails and decided to introduce postage stamps to Shawn. What he knows of stamp is Winnie and Tigger stamps that he has used before for craft stamping but not paper postage stamps. Before postage stamps disappear from Singapore and being substituted with postage labels from SAM machine, I think better start to intro this to him. It's a rare chance that I see stamps on envelopes these days. Anyway, I told him that we could get the postage stamps out from the envelope but soaking into a cup of water. So I fill up a cup of water and asked him to put the 2 little sheets of envelope with stamps into it. Told him that he has to wait until tomorrow before the stamps come off the envelope. Let's do it old fashioned way. Tomorrow I'll get him to take it out of the cup and put onto newspaper to dry. Perhaps I should get him a stamp album to start a collection (as what I used to do, collecting like more than 50pcs of stamp of the same kind... mad)
I'm currently collecting toilet rolls. Saw from a kiddy craft website to make snake out of bunch of toilet rolls. But what the mommie did was to cut one toilet roll into 2 and made it more flexible. I'm just going to make do with a 4-5 toilet rolls collected and washed, uncut. Tonight I passed him one roll and asked if he wanted me to cut and paste a piece of white paper onto before he draw. He said, no, he wanted to draw on the roll itself. 1st thing he did was took a black marker and wrote a capital A. Then he took green marker and wrote more capital A. Then he took other colors and drew triangle, zigzags all over. About 10min into what he was doing he told me to stick white paper onto the roll i.e. he wanted to start all over again. So I did. After decorating partially he said he wants to sleep already. It was late indeed about 10.20pm and so we stopped. To be continued....
