We went to Queenstown to meet up with our Kulim friends on Saturday evening. Worth the ride there for the chicken rice. Shawn had his cheese pasta for dinner while we had our yummy dinner. He was being passed around among our friends and he sure did have fun being entertained by others. En En was there too. The two of them were yakking for short while before En En decided to walk on and explore the hawker area. She's walking steadily already and very FAST!!! Not easy to carry her as she's one big baby! All of us took cabs to Holland Village for a drink. Dropped by Coffee Bean for coffee and cakes. Shawn was a little cranky by then as it's his bed time. He got much crankier at 9plus. I had to carry him in the carrier for about 1/2 hr walking around Holland V, before he dozed off. When we got home, did a quick wipe down, had milk and read some books. He finally fell asleep on his own in the cot round about 11.30pm till the next morning. Yipppeeeee!!!
On Sunday Shawn turned 10month old. We met up with Sing/Steph/Justin on Sunday for lunch at Hanabi at Katong Mall. Apparently Justin had sprouted his 1st tooth. He still drools :D Shawn wasn't feeling too good either. He skipped his morning nap and was drooling excessively during our lunch. He was practically gumming the plastic bowl during our lunch, and refused his kidney bean porridge after a few mouthfuls. Aiy....what to do? But when we got home, thankfully, he fell asleep after milk. So did I as I was just too tired. We went to Tampines Mall for dinner. Decided to get him a quick dinner off the shelves. We bought Heinz Organic Vegetable and Beef and served him at McDonalds while we had hot fudge. He loved it so much and he kept on laughing while eating.
He was pretty chatty throughtout the whole day, blabbering (when he's not cranky). At one point, he pointed at Justin and said Da Da. Then we corrected him Di Di. He would go on blabbering on and on and on and pointing here and there; very cute but we couldn't decipher what he's saying. Say... di da ma ja ma bu wa gu ga etc (mix and match whatever you like). Even at home nowadays he would point at his books and 'talk'. He 'talks' to the giraffe musical toy which is hanging in his cot. Even when he blabbers to something else, I would try to reply him even though I don't know what is he trying to say. :)
