Oh WOW!

Yesterday morning, Shawn said Da-Di (to YT) while rolling about in the bed waiting for me to pick him up to get to school. But could it just be a coincident as we always refer YT as papa instead of daddy??? :)

Anyway, Shawn finally pulled himself up in his cot and stood for a few minutes. It happened yesterday and he made it looked easy peasy. He was very happy indeed, smiling and laughing while standing, grinding his gum on the railing and shaking his butt. He also could just stand with one hand holding on and waving the other hand at us (much to our worry in case he loses balances and knock his head). However, he still doesn't know how to lower himself. After standing for awhile, he started to whine sort of like "HELP!!! I need help to lower myself down!". Nowadays he is more cooperative while waiting for me to take my bath in the evenings. We usually put him in the cot and place some books with him. He would take some of the books and look at them by himself (not exactly flipping the pages). He would point at the books, look at the front and back covers and hmmm hmmm, mambo jambo whatever words he can blabber. Sometimes what he does is mamamama all the way. He still drools quite a lot - got some rashes appearing on his chin and cheek. He has been a nice kid, sleeping through the night until 6-7am for the past few days. Hahahaa something to brag about, at least I get more of my beauty sleep!

Last night I tried cooking kidney beans, barley and yellow pepper. He didn't like it at all and refused the porridge after a few spoons. Ended up having to feed him whole avocado for dinner.
