Saturday at Orchard
On Saturday, after my checkup at Dr Yang's, we brought Shawn to Dr Khor. He passed his 18months assessment. Now he's 83cm (75percentile) tall and weighing at 13kg (97percentile). She said well, good thing he was still eating even when he was sick. So no worries of his weight. He is getting more greedy on food nowadays. As Dr Khor was predicting what kind of child he would be, she said it is unlikely he'll be the sportman type, more like studious and Internet addict type. Wahahaaaa we'll see if that would come true. We went to the Japanese noodle place at Paragon for lunch. Shawn had soba too. He loved it. After lunch he was cranky probably it was close to nap time. He slept when we were at Kinokuniya. While he was sleeping, YT and I went to have coffee. I bought Shawn a piece of steam cheesecake for snack. After he woke up, we sat at Taka dept store waiting area, while I fed Shawn the cake. He took 3/4 of it. After that we decided to let Shawn run around the Taka square to chase pigeons. At the same time UniSim percussion band was having a performance just outside Taka. Shawn was quite scared of the loud drums at first. After 10minutes or so, he was ok and even asked YT to carry him nearer to watch; while in between his time chasing pigeons around the square. While chasing pigeons and hearing people cheering and clapping for the band, he would stop and clap too. These are the times when we would forget he is a tyrant.
