Lazy Saturday... what's new?

Shawn woke us up at 6.30am and insisted of drinking milk. So I made him a cup of milk and after that he laze around and played with Lego in his cot. At 7plus he couldn't bear playing on his own anymore so he 'cried' from his cot asking to carry him. YT took him out and played at the playyard while I slept on until 8.30am. Woke up for breakfast that mum bought while Shawn ate char siew pau with milk. Then went on to run around the house and it lasted him till about 10am when YT was tired and wanted to nap, I told YT drag him into the room to nap. Mum and I heard him 'crying' from the outside and about 20min later, there was silence - later we found out it's fake cry. Shawn woke up much later and I decided to let him draw with crayon. I scotch-taped the mahjong paper onto the table and handed him some crayons to draw to buy time before lunch. Anyway, we were pretty excited as there was something that he drew looked like a carrot. Apparently that's what we claimed.. what do you say? He loved the 1/2hr of drawing and obviously got upset when we told him it's lunch time, that he needed to wash his hands and I would keep all the stuff. Mum took him to wash his hands with tears rolling down his cheeks... Awwww.... poor kid....

I did some reading with him after lunch and I was so tired that I needed a nap. I had 1hr of peaceful nap while Shawn and YT were in the study room playing. Then came the bomb time which Shawn stank the whole room and needed to change his diaper. After which YT placed him into the cot because Shawn seemed tired but he ended up not sleep at all. While I was lazing on the bed and trying to extend my nap, he was playing with his blocks for an hour or so by himself. I decided to just crawl out of the bed and get him out too.

In the evening, we brought him to Esplanade for a run. Had dinner at yummy Jang Shou while Shawn has his pumpkin pork porridge with some seafood pancake added to it. On the way back it was apparent that he was very tired after a long day (except that 1.5hr nap time in the morning). After bath and milk, I told him, "Tonight no pat, good night and mommie would off the lights". I turned off the lights and walked out. YT checked on him 20min later and porkchop was sleeping like a log.
