Last Friday, Shawn got bitten again in school on the right arm. Teacher did not witness it and no one knows who bit him. Anyway, when asked "Where pain pain?" there was no answer.
OWN, PUT - Over the weekend, we tried leaving him alone at the highchair to eat on his own while we do other things. On and off we take a peek at him to see how messy it was. Well, he did quite well. Most of the time he almost finish the meals on his own. When he sees his usual dinner bowl, he would scream, "Own! Put!" - tap tap on the table. Sometimes he would order us to sit down with him while he eats but if we do not do so, he doesn't throw tantrum... touchwood...Heee As long as something that he likes to eat (that's my yucky cooking), he'll eat up. If he doesn't quite like the meal, he would ask to 'keep' but I could still continue to feed him while he's busy with other things like flipping through magazines and books. As for outside food, he also loves oyako-don and fruit tarts from Manpuku, Coffee Bean's Apple Cinnamon muffin and Blueberry muffin, and Starbucks New York cheesecake. He would give up YT's phone for the cheesecake. He also refused us to help him digging the muffins and oyako-don; but would patiently wait for the fruit tarts and cheesecake to be served into his mouth. Someone's independent ya... hahahaa ..
WORM - He has refused us to change his diaper even though it's super stinko when he bombs or when it's fully loaded with pee. In order to get him out from what he's doing, we got to scare him a bit. We tell him that he would creepy crawlie on his backside if he doesn't want to change his diaper. Then he would in return say, "Worm!". And I would continue to say the same thing over and over again then walk away to our bedroom. Then minutes later, he would realise we're both missing and come running to change his diaper. Same goes when I have to trim his nails. He would still retract his hands away from me when I needed to cut his nails. So I do it when he's watching his TV and tell him that creepy crawlie would come by if he doesn't want to cut his nails. He would reluctantly let me trim them. :)
AIRPORT - Yesterday, I whisked him up into a cab. Shawn helped to announce the destination that we were going, "AIRPORT!". So... why is this so? it's because we spoke about seeing aeroplanes in the sky and he could relate aeroplane with airport. So as he went into the cab, 1st word was airport. I laughed my head off!
RAISIN - He said this yesterday as he was watching some cooking show. Yay! Now is no more "SIN"
MOUSE - Correct usage on PC mouse, Mickey mouse and the real mouse.
KEYBOARD - He learnt this yesterday and said it again this morning. I taught him this word when he saw the keyboard on my phone and he seemed excited about this word.
Tomorrow, mum would be in town! Yipppeeee.. finally home cooked food once again
